Holophane offer a comprehensive and professional lighting design service. Our experienced and qualified lighting designers are on hand to provide full project support ranging from simple calculation plots to full complex lighting designs.

Our design team have a vast array of experience in designing for all the key areas of commercial lighting ranging from logistics, education, rail, industrial and street lighting. A dedicated team prepares schemes and provides lighting calculations for both interior and exterior lighting schemes. To support this high level of service. Holophane utilise state of the art lighting design software.

Our team uses and are qualified in the following design software; Visual 30 (Acuity Brands Software), Dialux Evo, Lighting Reality and Relux. We can provide high quality, comprehensive lighting calculation report for our customers. A customer can expect to receive a professional and quality lighting design service.

The lighting design team are all LIA qualified and have a vast array of experience in a variety of industry sectors. ranging from Logistics, Industry, Amenity, Rail and Streetlighting. The team will look to provide superior solutions that are both cost and energy efficient for
lighting Holophane customers which is backed up by the lighting design teams extensive technical knowledge of Holophane products. The designs are expected to be clear and simple for our customers to understand.

Timescales

At Holophane, you won't wait long. All our sales team can create lighting designs and our dedicated team can produce high quality designs in about a week.

Process

From your initial request we'll work with you to discover your requirements including Application, Lighting Levels, Product Choice and Specific Information for your project.

Once we understand your project, we'll create a detailed lighting design to present to you and your team including layout, images and reports.

We can then make any amends which are needed to make sure it's perfect before looking at costs and delivery time.

The whole process usually takes about a week.

UNIQUE SOLUTIONS

For most applications the standard range of Holophane luminaires provide the perfect solution, however, there are situations where something 'special ' or 'unique' is required.

We can offer a Unique Solution Service, anything from minor modifications of appearance, to totally bespoke products, to blend with a scheme or hard to maintain applications. The solution will be designed and built using the latest technology and then tested in our certified laboratory to the latest BSI specifications to ensure compliance. So if the appearance of the luminaires or bracketry needs to be in perfect harmony with the building design or if you have a technical specification that can't be met elsewhere, please get in touch.

We will tap into the great experience and resource we have from over a hundred and twenty five years in the lighting industry so unique products can be developed which retain the proven photometric performance, efficiency and quality usually associated with the Holophane name.
